Introduction

Taiichi Ohno

The foundation of lean thinking is the elimination of waste (Muda) that occurs during the production of the service offered to the customer. Thus, the quality, cost and time of the service provided to the customer reach an excellent level. Taiichi Ohno, one of the founders and first practitioners of lean thinking, said: "All we are doing is looking at the time line from the moment the customer gives us an order to the point when we collect the cash. And we are reducing the time line by removing the non-value-added wastes." Throughout his life, Ohno worked to prevent waste, i.e., Muda. With our Kaizen consulting, we aim to follow in Ohno's footsteps and wage a relentless battle against the 7 major wastes in your company. While doing this, we ensure that all employees learn the 7 mudas and the techniques to eliminate them thoroughly.

With Kaizen implementation consulting, your company will achieve the following gains:

  • Establishment and sustainability of the Kaizen implementation management system
  • Reduction of labor losses, increase in value added per person
  • Creation of a Kaizen and continuous improvement culture
  • Permanent resolution of problems, introducing necessary analysis techniques to the system
  • Employees learn the 7 mudas and the methods to eliminate them
  • Reduction of customer complaints and defective production, increase in customer satisfaction

How do we work?

Kaizen cycle

Before providing you with service, we visit your company by applying the "GENCHI GENBUTSU" (go and see) principle, one of the basic principles of lean thinking. In order to form our initial opinions about your company, determine the scope of the project to be implemented, and get the ideas of your management about lean thinking, we have a 1-2 hour meeting together, a general visit to your facilities, and an exchange of ideas to determine the project draft.

The KAIZEN IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT proposal prepared by the consultant who visits you is submitted to the relevant authorized person one week after the visit.
